Together, we can do wonderful things.

At present, our organisation does not receive any ongoing or government funding. The Mackay community makes this possible, and we need your help.

We are calling on people to get involved and make a small weekly or monthly contribution towards real change and relief for people in our community. 

We are Mackay's only daily homelessness meal service, homelessness healthcare service and provide Mackay's only homelessness drop-in space. Our services are vital in our community. With numbers of people experiencing homelessness in our region growing rapidly, we need you now more than ever. 

$3.00 is enough to give someone a fresh coffee 

$6.00 is enough to give someone a sandwich and drink or a breakfast with coffee

$14 is enough to give someone a breakfast (with coffee) and lunch

$40 is enough for a sleeping bag and tent

$80 is enough for a healthcare appointment

$100 is enough to provide a night of relief/emergency accommodation

Your contribution will go directly towards providing:

- Meals

- Healthcare

- Essential items

- Case Management 

- A safe, inclusive space (Drop-In Lounge)

You will receive: 

- End of year tax receipt - all donations over $2 are 100% tax deductible

- A digital certificate of thanks to display in your home, office or workplace

By making a general donation, you allow us to use the funding where it is needed most at the time of the donation. 

General donations are used in a wide variety of ways... from buying a person shoes, to providing professional medical assistance for infected wounds, assisting pets of our clients, or purchasing much needed mental health medications. 

Please note: despite the charity name (Australian Street Aid Project), we are still a local Mackay charity. All items/funds are  utilised and distributed locally in Mackay, QLD 4740.
